Plagiarism Policy

Articles submitted to Sobe Autism Research Journal (SOBEJ) should be accompanied by similarity reports obtained using internationally recognized plagiarism detection software (e.g. iThenticate, Turnitin). The following rules are taken into account when determining the similarity rate:
(a) The overall similarity rate of the article should be below 20%. At this stage, manuscripts with an overall similarity rate above 20% are sent back to the author without being peer-reviewed.
(b) The similarity rate to a specific source within the total similarity rate of the article should be less than 5%.
(c) Bibliographic materials such as references and citations are not included in the screening process.
(d) The editor has the authority to check for similarity at every stage of the publication process.
(e) All authors submitting manuscripts are deemed to have accepted the above-mentioned rules.
